**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum!** Job Description: - Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in our Mother Baby Unit. - Experience the rewarding atmosphere of caring for postpartum patients and newborns. - Work the Night Shift (4x12-Hour, 19:00 - 07:30). - Be part of a highly skilled team providing exceptional care for: - Postpartum patients who do not need ICU level of care. - Newborns who do not require NICU level of care, including late preterm and substance-exposed newborns. - Utilize your expertise in high-risk patient populations: - Monitor patients on magnesium drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips. - Manage PCA & PCEA pumps. - Provide phototherapy for newborns. - Support breastfeeding efforts for postpartum patients. Responsibilities: - Maintain optimal patient ratios of 1:3 for couplets or up to 6 patients. - Enhance your skills in fetal monitoring — antepartum trained RNs will float to L&D as needed. - Provide care that supports the health of families and newborns during critical transitions. Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of specialty experience required. - No first-time travelers. - Current BLS and NRP certifications are required. - Active RN License (state or compact). - Call and weekend shifts are required based on unit needs. - Charting experience with Epic is preferred. - Blue Navy scrubs are the designated attire.
