Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Highlights:
- 23-bed Postpartum/Mother-Baby unit with approximately 80 staff members providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care
- Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 (estimated) allowing for quality patient interactions and family education
- Night shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs on the floor, and 2-3 RNs in the nursery
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech with CPN computer system
- Collaborative environment focused on patient education, newborn care, and family bonding support
- Travel assignment in a dynamic postpartum setting with experienced, tenured nursing staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Postpartum or Mother-Baby experience required
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Experience in a Mother-Baby unit strongly preferred
- Flexibility with scheduling and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
