The facility has a diverse patient population, including high-risk obstetric patients. Candidates should be prepared to float between various departments as required. Weekend coverage is mandatory, with 6 weekend shifts expected over the contract duration. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities and may have additional responsibilities during busy times. Successful applicants should have experience with managing multiple couplets and substance withdrawal cases. Experience with specific treatments, such as Pitocin and Foley catheter management, is essential. Candidates must be able to adapt to rapid changes in patient census and clinical situations. Documentation and charting will be done using electronic health record systems. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. References will be required from previous employers highlighting relevant experience within the last three years. Additional training or modules may be required before starting the assignment.
