Plans and implements patient and family education. Responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients. Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing is required. Employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned. Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation. Analyze the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues. Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation. Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
