Travel Nurse RN - Mother Baby - $2,443 per week in Charlotte, NC

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week, 8 weekend shifts per contract Highlights: - Full-scope LDRP practice requiring both Labor & Delivery and Couplet Care expertise- Work in an 8-bed LDRP unit with 7 overflow beds (15 rooms total) serving a low-risk maternal and neonatal population- Patient ratios: L&D 1:1-2, Couplet Care 1:3-4 based on acuity and unit needs- Approximately 80 births per month with one OB practice delivering at the facility- Minimal floating required; call may be needed if low census occurs- 13-week contract available with 24 hours of orientation plus hospital orientation week- Epic charting system with full equipment and interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, PT, and rapid response teams Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with both Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby experience required- Must have LDRP or Couplet Care experience- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), AWHONN Intermediate- North Carolina or Compact state RN license- Strong clinical skills in antepartum care, fetal monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin- Ability to circulate for C-sections and recover patients in PACU- Competency in newborn care, breastfeeding support, postpartum care, and neonatal assessment- Experience with triage, high-risk deliveries, hemorrhage management, and forceps/vacuum extraction assistance- First-time travelers accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a Baby-Friendly designated community hospital environment where you'll utilize your full skill set across the entire perinatal spectrum.
