Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in LDRP.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities include managing patient care during labor and delivery.
Experience with high-risk antepartum care is essential.
Candidates should be familiar with the use of intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC).
Candidates must be able to maintain central lines, including CVC and PICC.
Knowledge of anticoagulation therapy is required.
Experience with antihypertensives and insulin drips is needed.
Candidates must be proficient in magnesium sulfate therapy.
Assisting with high-risk deliveries is a key responsibility.
Candidates will be required to circulate for cesarean sections and recover patients.
A sterile vaginal exam will be conducted as part of patient care.
Candidates must adhere to isolation precautions and use PPE appropriately.
Mother-baby care and teaching new parents are integral parts of this role.
Candidates should be skilled in identifying and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
Discharge teaching to parents will be expected.
Newborn assessment will be part of the duties.
Management of newborn hypoglycemia is required.
Candidates will provide phototherapy and ensure thermoregulation for patients.
Experience with epidural anesthesia and general anesthesia is necessary.
Pain assessment and management will be a part of the nursing responsibilities.
Breastfeeding and lactation support are provided to new mothers.
Care for episiotomies and incisional wounds is expected.
Candidates will monitor fundus, lochia, and perineum care postpartum.
Experience in conducting vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections is needed.
Candidates should be able to manage bladder distension and postpartum hemorrhage.
Knowledge of pregnancy-induced hypertension will be beneficial.
This role involves the interpretation of dysrhythmias and cardiac rhythms.
Registered Nurses must provide telemetry assessment and interpretation for patients under their care.
