# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Mother/Baby Unit) – TexasStart Date:

Schedule:

Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Weekend requirement of 3–4 shifts per scheduling period. No on-call required. Tuesday start date.

Highlights:

• 70-bed mother/baby unit in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Patient ratio of 1:3 couplets (6 patients total)
• Electronic medical records system (CPN EMR) for streamlined documentation
• Supportive team environment with charge nurses, resource nurses, and patient care technicians on each shift
• Typical procedures include mother/baby care, lactation support, phototherapy, blood sugar monitoring, and IV antibiotic administration
• Minimal floating required; when needed, assigned as a resource nurse

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year recent mother/baby nursing experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications
• NICU or postpartum experience preferred
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
