# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum – Texas

Location: Arlington, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 32-bed operational unit; 1:3 couplet ratio (varies based on unit mix); no on-call requirement
Highlights:- Comprehensive postpartum and newborn care including couplet care, breastfeeding support, newborn screenings, and feeding assistance
- EMR systems include Meditech and CPN
- Floating to antepartum for postpartum overflow and labor and delivery recoveries as needed
- Collaborative environment working closely with OB, pediatricians, and lactation specialists
- Flexible scheduling with opportunities for extra shifts
- Supportive team with mix of experienced and newer nurses in a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements:- Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Couplet care competencies required
- Breastfeeding support experience required
- Mother baby charge experience preferred
- Late-preterm or transitional newborn experience preferred
- Experience with typical postpartum procedures: newborn screenings, blood glucose monitoring, jaundice monitoring, perineal and incision care
