We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Boston, MA. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours, providing you with stability and the opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote health and wellness.

Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• 2+ years of related work experience in a Medical ICU or Level 1 trauma center.
• Certifications: CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA.
• Availability to work every third weekend.
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Additional Information:

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays (excluding holidays).
• Interviews conducted by the nurse manager; please provide your availability for scheduling.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
• Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last year are not eligible for this position.
• Parking may cost up to $43/day.
