Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care or critical care nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to stay current in critical care nursing practices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care for critically ill patients in the MICU and other ICU specialties as needed
• Float to units with the greatest staffing need, including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care
• Deliver attentive bedside nursing care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Adapt to changing patient acuity, unit priorities, and workflow demands with professionalism and flexibility
