    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit managing common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6–1:7; candidates must be comfortable with a ratio of up to 1:7
    • Titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results as required
    • Monitor and manage patients on intermittent BiPAP; unit does not utilize ventilators
    • Work alongside PCTs and collaborate with remote monitor technicians overseeing telemetry
    • Float to other units as needed based on census; travelers are first to float
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license; any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
    • BLS certification (required)
    • NIHSS certification (required)
    • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled (typically half of total weekends)
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    • A copy of candidate's unexpired driver's license must be included with all submissions
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience working on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
    • Familiarity with heparin drip titration protocols
    • Experience with scheduling platforms such as Qgenda
