    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit, managing a caseload of 5–6 patients per shift (occasionally up to 7 at night)
    • Care for post-operative patients (knee, hip, shoulder, thyroidectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy) as well as medical patients with diagnoses including HTN, heart failure, pneumonia, COPD, AMS, TIA, DM, sepsis, UTI, and AKI
    • Administer and monitor set-rate and titratable drips including Heparin and PCAs as needed (titration required on a rare basis)
    • Manage respiratory equipment including CPAP (home settings) and BiPAP (rare); collaborate with tele techs for rhythm interpretation as needed
    • Float to like units as an RN; may float in a CNA capacity to IMC, ICU, or ED
    • Adhere to scheduling requirements including weekend and holiday rotations as assigned
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN (Registered Nurse) license valid in the state of Wisconsin
    • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Ability to work night shifts and comply with onsite clock-in/clock-out requirements
    • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to safe patient care practices
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • More than 1 year of Medical Surgical experience, particularly for first-time travelers
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring processes and post-operative patient care
    • Experience working alongside CNAs and charge nurses in a team-based unit environment
