    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
    • Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
    • Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses
    • Conduct holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
    • Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
    • Float as needed between Med/Surg and Rehabilitation units, and serve in a sitter role as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Must practice in accordance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards
    • Ability to delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with all members of the healthcare team
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Rehabilitation nursing setting
    • Familiarity with evidence-based nursing procedures and current clinical workflows
