    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 48-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6–8 on nights
    • Monitor and manage patients with common diagnoses including pneumonia, UTI, altered mental status, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and fall-related injuries
    • Titrate drips including heparin, bumex, and lasix as indicated (cardiac drip titration not required)
    • Collaborate with respiratory therapy staff who manage breathing treatments, inhalers, ABGs, and respiratory equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow O2; RN role is to monitor patients accordingly
    • Work alongside patient care techs and a remote telemetry monitoring team; RNs are not required to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
    • Adhere to scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend coverage, potential holiday rotation, and flexibility to float to other Medical Surgical, MS-Tele, or IMC units as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
    • Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy required at time of submission)
    • Ability to comply with a 50-mile radius requirement
    • Willingness to wear required scrub color (Navy Blue) and adhere to dress code policy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers will be considered
    • Familiarity with titratable drip management in a Medical Surgical setting
    • CNA certification or willingness to complete a PCT course if applicable
