Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
- Adhere to all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Meditech EMR experience required
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Expected weekly hours: 36–40 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Strong familiarity with Med Surg patient populations and related procedures
- Experience in a travel nursing capacity
