    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts) | 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, caring exclusively for adult patients (travelers do not take pediatric patients)
    • Manage a diverse adult patient population with diagnoses including respiratory illness, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 on day shifts
    • Float to all inpatient units as needed throughout the facility
    • Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic health record system
    • Collaborate with team members and ancillary staff to ensure the best possible patient experience while managing tasks independently and efficiently
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
    • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
    • Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
    • Compliance with facility health and safety policies, including masking requirements for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccinations during flu season
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
    • Demonstrated resilience and ability to manage change effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
    • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to shift changes
