    Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide pre- and post-surgical care to adult and geriatric patients on a 40-bed inpatient Post Surgical Care Unit following PACU recovery
    • Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients per shift, prioritizing care based on acuity in a fast-paced environment that averages 10–15 admissions per day
    • Perform accurate medication administration using electronic scanning equipment and infusion pumps
    • Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR
    • Float to all inpatient units as needed
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient throughput and maintain unit occupancy goals
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
    • Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
    • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience with recent hospital experience
    • Trauma Level II experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Alaris infusion pumps and rover-based medication scanning
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs in a high-volume, fast-paced post-surgical environment
    • Experience caring for geriatric and joint replacement patient populations
