    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, managing adult patients with diagnoses including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 on day shifts and 1:6–7 on night shifts
    • Float to all inpatient units as needed
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if applicable
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
    • BLS Certification through AHA or ARC
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
    • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
    • Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
    • Experience managing a high-acuity, fast-paced inpatient environment with frequent census and assignment changes
    • Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to shift-level changes
    • Positive, collaborative attitude with willingness to ask questions and engage with the care team
