    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

    Location

    Watertown, WI | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical floor serving an adult population with diagnoses including sepsis, pneumonia, heart failure, renal failure, and post-operative conditions
    • Manage a patient ratio of 4–6 patients per RN on a 32-bed unit with a typical census of 10–20 patients
    • Operate and monitor equipment including Baxter IV pumps and GE monitors; document care using Meditech EHR
    • Rotate into every third weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
    • Float as a sitter to the Senior Behavioral Health Unit or ICU on a rare, as-needed basis
    • Maintain current BLS certification throughout the duration of the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in Wisconsin (or compact state eligibility)
    • Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
    • BLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EHR system
    • Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) including rotating weekends
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience with post-surgical patients (orthopedic, spinal, and general surgery)
    • Familiarity with geriatric and adult patient populations
    • Flexible, team-oriented approach to patient care
