Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM with rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions in accordance with facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Rotate weekend shifts as scheduled by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Mississippi or compact equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care Medical Surgical environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into an existing care team
