    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel Contract)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, rotating weekends)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility standards and protocols
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
    • Participate in rotating weekend coverage as required by unit scheduling
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    • Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
    • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
    • Demonstrated ability to float to additional units as needed
