    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 56-bed unit covering Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine
    • Manage care for adult patients (18+) presenting with diagnoses including cancer, ESRD, diabetes, GI conditions, abdominal pain, and dermatological conditions
    • Operate and monitor specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds
    • Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted New York State RN license (verified via NURSYS)
    • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Oncology nursing
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current NIHSS certification
    • Current Chemotherapy (Chemo) certification
    • Travel nursing experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Hematology, Nephrology, or Endocrine patient populations
    • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
    • Familiarity with specialty equipment such as sand beds, chest tubes, and NG tubes
