Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool

Contract | Full-Time | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg and Telemetry float pool environment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients across applicable units
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to varying unit needs and patient populations as a float pool nurse
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (0700–1930)
- Comfortable floating across multiple units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior telemetry experience or telemetry certification
- Previous float pool experience in an acute care setting
- Strong adaptability and clinical assessment skills across diverse patient populations
