Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Orthopedic unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Care for post-operative surgical patients and manage associated recovery needs
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin
• Utilize remote telemetry equipment to monitor patient status
• Document patient care and clinical findings accurately using the unit EMR system
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and ACT staff to maintain safe, high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Orthopedic or post-surgical nursing background
