Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical Acute Care unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Operate and manage Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines in accordance with unit protocols
- Administer and monitor drips, including heparin, as ordered
- Assist with post-operative care for radial cardiac catheterization patients
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care technicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum of 1 year of current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Background in orthopedic or post-operative patient care
- High-energy, team-oriented personality with a strong focus on patient care quality
