Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring
- Monitor and manage patients on IV drips including Heparin and Dopamine (constant rate, no titration, renal perfusion only)
- Care for a diverse patient population including stable ventilator-dependent patients and BiPAP patients
- Manage patients with acute and chronic renal failure, dialysis needs, and fluid overload
- Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, family practice providers, and hospitalists on patient care plans
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in the state of Indiana or compact license eligibility
- BLS certification required
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with telemetry monitoring and remote telemetry systems
- Familiarity with renal patient populations including dialysis management
- Experience caring for stable ventilator and BiPAP patients in a Med/Surg setting
