Job Title
Travel RN – Medical Surgical
Location
Sylva, NC | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation and care coordination
- Float based on unit rotation as needed
- Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications throughout the assignment
- Participate in weekend rotation (every other or every third weekend)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated Medical Surgical competencies
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Paragon EHR
- Familiarity with orthopedics, cardiology, or general surgery patient populations
