Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation facility setting
- Manage a patient assignment at expected ratios of 1:6–8
- Float between units within the facility as operationally needed
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in weekend coverage on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of every other weekend
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience required
- Must be available for weekend shifts (minimum every other weekend)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
- Must have 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (Charge RNs and Leads are acceptable)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler; candidates within 50 miles may be considered under a local rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience managing higher patient ratios in a fast-paced Med Surg setting
