Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: September 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit in an acute care setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and Joint Commission standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee or a Compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Observation unit or step-down setting
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new facility environments
