Contract (13 Weeks) | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting within a Critical Access Hospital environment
- Float between the Medical/Surgical unit and the Emergency Department as operationally needed
- Perform charge nurse duties as required
- Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 in the Med/Surg setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license — must be in-hand at time of submission
- Minimum prior experience in Medical/Surgical, Emergency Room, and Charge Nurse roles
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- TNCC certification required
- Completed Med/Surg and ER Skills Checklists required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
