    Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
    • Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment.
    • Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
    • Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
    • Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and available resources.
    • Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed to effectively manage clinical situations.
    Required Qualifications
    • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting.
    • Ability to float to all Medical/Surgical departments as needed.
    • Availability for weekend shifts (approximately 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff).
    • Availability for on-call shifts (approximately 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff).
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    • Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
    • Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity.
