Registered Nurse – Long Term Care (Level 2)

Contract | Days, Evenings, and Nights available | Weekends, on-call, and holidays per unit need
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to geriatric residents in a long term care setting
- Perform nursing assessments and implement individualized plans of care
- Administer medications and perform wound care as required
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Oversee and delegate tasks to LPN and CNA colleagues within the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long term care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Strong communication, flexibility, and delegation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of geriatric residents with varying care needs
