Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5–6:1
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RNs and Licensed Nursing Assistants on the night shift
- Support and assist with orthopedic surgical procedures including knee, hip, shoulder, and cervical cases, as well as bariatric patients
- Operate unit equipment including Hoyer lifts and CPM machines
- Float to Medical Oncology as needed per unit requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Strong patient-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in orthopedics and/or bariatrics in addition to Med Surg
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols
