RN – Medical Surgical (Acute Care)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
- Apply independent and supervisory discretion in clinical decision-making across the acute care setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Note: Holiday time-off requests are not approved for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
