Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 46-bed Transitional Care unit serving a mix of medical and surgical patients who are medically ready for discharge
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including Philips Vital Sign Machines, overhead lifts, bladder scanners, Synergy Air beds, and Stryker beds, among others
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on teamwork, communication, punctuality, and reliability
• May be floated to other units based on skillset and facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Maine (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience
• Demonstrated charting and EMR experience
• Completion of required Healthstream education modules prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a transitional care, LTC, or SNF setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience with patient ratios of up to 1:8
