Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical units serving ortho, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
- Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjusted based on acuity
- Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Float between two Medical Surgical units (5th and 6th floor) as needed
- Wear required Royal Blue scrubs in accordance with unit dress code
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability and willingness to float between Med Surg units as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Background in telemetry, cardiac, or stroke patient care
- Familiarity with ortho and/or surgical patient populations
