Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Monday–Friday with weekend coverage as needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations in a Medical Surgical setting
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 across day, night, and weekend shifts
- Float to other units as required based on facility needs
- Provide weekend coverage on an as-needed basis
- Complete required facility orientation modules, including Epic training, during the onboarding period
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN State License — must be in hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be in hand at time of application
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
- EPIC experience required — must be documented in work history
- No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
- Two (2) supervisor references required at time of application
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with float pool responsibilities across multiple units
- Flexibility with scheduling, including weekend availability
