    Description

    Job Title: Office Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: Full-Time Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM - Noon (on Rotation) Hours per Shift: 8 hours (M-F), 4 hours (Saturday) Experience: Minimum years of experience preferred License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by New Hampshire Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment. Description: The Office Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned patients. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. The Office Nurse collaborates with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress must be maintained. Any changes or concerns must be promptly reported to the appropriate team members. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed ensures adherence to hospital policies and protocols. Educating patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures is essential to promote overall wellness. Emotional support and advocacy for patients' rights ensure they receive compassionate and respectful care. Compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines maintains a safe and ethical work environment. Continuous learning through ongoing professional development activities is expected. Other duties as assigned may be required.
