Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress; report changes or concerns promptly to appropriate team members
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to facility policies and protocols
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness
- Teach and direct clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in the performance of delegated acts within the therapeutic plan of care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Active ACLS certification
- At least some prior nursing experience required; new graduates are not being considered at this time
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Candidates must be in the process of relocating to New Hampshire
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an orthopedics or surgical office setting
- Familiarity with directing and delegating tasks to LPNs and Medical Assistants
- Experience working within a Critical Access Hospital or community hospital environment
