Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
- Support patients undergoing both emergent and elective surgical procedures
- Collaborate with registered nurses and nurse assistants to deliver high standards of patient care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Pursue and maintain specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing as encouraged by the unit
Required Qualifications- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient setting
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
- Familiarity with care of both emergent and elective surgical patient populations
