Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients on a Medical Surgical unit
- Support patients undergoing both emergent and elective surgical procedures
- Deliver care in accordance with the highest standards of professional nursing practice
- Collaborate with registered nurses and nurse assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
- Experience caring for adult patients in an acute Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with both emergent and elective surgical patient populations
