Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Maintain the standards of professional nursing practice throughout all patient interactions
• Monitor cardiac drips, read telemetry monitors, and manage post-surgical cases
• Provide care to Adult and Geriatric patient populations
• Supervise CNAs, SNAs, or other assigned healthcare workers as directed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry experience required
• Stepdown experience required
• Experience reading monitors, managing cardiac drips, and caring for post-surgical patients required
• Active Illinois RN License required at time of submission
• BLS/CPR (American Heart Association) certification required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with both Adult and Geriatric patient populations in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience working alongside certified monitor technicians in a remote telemetry environment
