Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Float)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit while providing leadership within the nursing team
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients through a Shared Governance model
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
- Float across units as assigned, with critical care experience being a key component of this role
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing; license must be in-hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required — must be submitted with application
- ACLS, NIHSS certifications required — must be submitted with application
- Nursys verification required with submission
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred; applicants without experience may be required to complete a residency program
- Critical care experience highly preferred
- Travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience with Cerner charting preferred
