Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and provide leadership within the nursing team
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served through the model of Shared Governance
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
- Float to support ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
- May be responsible for pediatric patients when floated to the ER, depending on experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Stepdown experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing; license must be in-hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Critical care experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred
