Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
- Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing environment
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with Med Surg workflows and electronic health record systems
