Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during day shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license - must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification - must be active and in hand at time of submission
- ACLS certification - must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience gained within a single facility or location in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
