Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 3×12 or 4×12 Hours (18:45-07:15) | Every other weekend coverage expected (subject to change based on need)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours
- Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed per census demands
- Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
- Maintain compliance with annual orientation and compliance requirements
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic or a like specialty
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Must not be a first-time traveler - prior travel nursing experience required
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing 50-99.9 miles from the contracted campus may be considered at a reduced rate (night shift exception applies)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in both teaching hospital and community hospital settings
- Demonstrated ability to float to related units while maintaining quality patient care
