Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Projected Start: November 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 15-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric populations
- Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Care for post-surgical patients and monitor telemetry, utilizing GE equipment and Medhost EHR
- Work a minimum of 4 weekend hours per month as part of the standard schedule
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and adapt to working with limited resources
- Assist in other units on a limited, as-needed float basis
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Demonstrated ability to care for surgical patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a stepdown or intermediate care unit
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Experience working with geriatric patient populations
