Key Responsibilities
Formulate, revise, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient response to treatment
Coordinate and supervise patient care activities across a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving a pediatric through geriatric population
Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs, including patient education and discharge planning
Recognize and report abnormal assessment findings, incorporating results into the plan of care and revising expected outcomes as needed
Accurately document all patient care activities including wound assessment, medication administration, nursing flow sheets, and all assessment forms
Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members while maintaining organizational priorities
Required Qualifications
Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License (must be provided at time of submission)
Active American Heart Association BLS certification (must be provided at time of submission)
Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (must be provided at time of submission)
Minimum 3 years of current Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Previous travel nursing experience of at least 6 months
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Must have personal vehicle available for use during assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Telemetry or Progressive Care unit experience
Medical/Surgical Skills Checklist completed within the past year
