Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications in accordance with provider orders
- Perform clinical procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV placement
- Adjust and operate specialized medical equipment; interpret and document measurements accurately
- Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license or valid compact state license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification — required
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Skills checklist current within the past year, pertinent to Medical Surgical specialty
- Two supervisory references obtained within the last two years
- Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with regional referral center or high-volume Medical Surgical environments
